Another Nice Day Sailing on the Columbia
Wednesday, September 10th, 2008I haven’t been posting much since we got Cinnamon to her new home at Hayden Bay because we have been busy working on little projects and SAILING!!! What a blast. Every time out is a new adventure with a new(to us) boat. We are finding that Cinnamon is a good light air boat with her long boom and fore triangle, but she stiffens right up and sails nice in 10 to 15 knots. Above that a reef and a couple rolls on the headsail furling keep her right at hull speed.
